The Lady Badgers suffered an 11-0 loss to Brownwood on the road Tuesday, but there was no quit in the team, Lampasas head coach Emma Sharp said. “Once again, the girls never gave up and encouraged each other all the way until the end of the game,” Sharp said.

Badgers secure win in overtime

The Badgers started their district basketball schedule the right way – by picking up a tight win over the Stephenville Yellowjackets, 59-56. The game required an overtime period to secure the victory.

Stephenville takes down Lady Badgers

The Lady Badgers suffered their first district loss of the season on the road against Stephenville on Friday, as the host team won 71-41. Lampasas fell in a big hole early, being outscored in the first quarter 26-11 and 18-6 in the second quarter.

Lady Badgers pick up big win over Brownwood

The Lady Badgers hosted a tough Brownwood team on Tuesday for a chance to move to 2-0 in district play. Lampasas led for most of the game and was able to create some separation after a couple of scoring runs that eventually led to the 55-43 final tally.
