Burnet won 9-0 against the Lady Badger varsity soccer team Friday night. The match concludes the first round of district play. “We had a few opportunities to get in past their defense but were unsuccessful in putting one in the back of the net...,” coach Kiff Wiemers said.

The Lady Badgers went 4-0 in the Marble Falls softball tournament, which was relocated to Leander Glenn’s turf field due to rain. Lampasas (5-1) beat opponents by a combined score of 41-2.
Lampasas High School cheerleading coach Shannon Lindsey was named TGCA Cheer Coach of the Year for Conference 4A. Lindsey has led the squad to the state finals all three years that it has been offered as a UIL sport.
