Lady Badger heading to state golf tournament next month

The Lampasas golf teams were in Lubbock last week for the regional tournament, and one Lady Badger will continue her season at the state tournament next month. Shaylee Wolfe shot a 77 in the first round and 72 in the second round to finish at 149 and tied for second.

Lampasas athletes qualify for regional track meet

The Badgers and Lady Badgers traveled to Brownwood last Friday for the area track meet, and some of those competitors will continue on to the regional meet. Nyla Long finished fourth in the 3200-meter run, beating fellow Lady Badger Abby Valdez by 0.9 seconds with a time of 13:18 to qualify for regionals.

Badgers lose late in big game against Glen Rose

The Badgers traveled to Glen Rose Tuesday night to take on the Tigers in a game that had big playoff implications. After seven competitive innings, Lampasas gave up a run in the bottom of the seventh to lose 5-4.
