Clay and Rhonda Mathis of Kingsville have announced the engagement of their daughter Morgan Lee Mathis to Kade Matthew Hodges, the son of Wesley and Karen Hodges of Sterling City. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Patrick Mathis, DVM, and Lee Mathis of New Braunfels, and Wayne and Rotha Wolfe of Lampasas.

Lampasas High School unveils new culinary center

Students of the culinary arts program at Lampasas High School started the 2021-22 academic year with a newly constructed, state-of-the-art facility to hone their skills. The recently completed Culinary Arts Center gives students the ability to use and train with the same type of equipment they will encounter in the food service industry.
