There are a lot of legitimate reasons for people to exercise. People train to look good, to succeed at athletic events, and to ward off aging and disease. When I examine my own physical fitness regime, all these things come to mind, but perhaps the most visible aspect of fitness for me lately has been training for what is necessary in life.
