Davis residence open for Tour of Homes

One of the homes to be featured on this year’s Tour of Homes is that of Celia Davis at 26 Samac Lane. It will be open for touring on Dec. 4 as part of the annual Yuletide festivities in Lampasas. Tour tickets are available from the Lampasas County Museum.

Taylor Creek salutes military

Taylor Creek Elementary School had a full house last Tuesday night as the fourth-graders presented a program thanking veterans for their service. The program, “We Honor You, A Salute to America's Soldiers and Veterans,” was directed by fine arts teacher Candace Beyer and featured the fourth-grade students from the classes of Orion Greenwood, Tomi Hill, Kyndra Sewell and Stephanie Smith.

More than 100 military veterans attended the Lampasas Middle School’s annual Veterans Day program Thursday morning. For the past 21 years, LMS has paid tribute to the local men and women who served in the nation’s military forces.

LHS students to perform ‘Beauty and the Beast’
