The Lampasas County Museum, 303 S. Western, will offer its annual Tour of Homes Dec. 6 from 1-5 p.m. After a stop at the museum to purchase tickets and view unique artifacts on display such as those pictured above, tour participants will have the opportunity to view four other sites around the city selected for their interesting features. The Browning Community Garden Club and Killeen Garden Club held their annual Veterans Day Celebration Nov. 11. Members placed a wreath at the base of a Blue Star Memorial Highway marker along U.S. Highway 190 and planted poppy seeds in the area, which they say they hope will bloom in the spring.
