On Tuesday at 4:52 p.m., LPD received the first of two 9-1-1 calls about an incident in the 900 block of South Broad Street, near Lampasas Middle School.
Reportedly, a white female -- who appeared to witnesses to be about 13-14 years old -- exited the driver’s door of a large black dually pickup as the vehicle drove down South Broad Street. The female reportedly had blond shoulder-length hair and was wearing black leggings or a leotard. The pickup was described as having lots of chrome, and it reportedly had a bicycle in its bed, according to the police department.
A male passenger allegedly got out of the pickup, chased the female, grabbed her and forced her back into the pickup. The pickup was last seen driving west on Sixth Street.
About 30 minutes later, according to the police department, officers located a vehicle that matched the general description provided from the initial incident. Officers found the vehicle at McDonald's, about two blocks from the initial incident.
Both occupants of the vehicle denied involvement.
