On Saturday, May 12 the U.S. Postal Service conducted their “Stamp Out Hunger” campaign as they do every year on Mother’s Day weekend. This year the Lampasas Mission was the recipient of the generosity of the people of Lampasas County. We received 709.5 pounds of nonperishable food. We would like to send out a very appreciative “Thank you” to all who participated and to the post office for going the extra mile each year for those who are less fortunate.
