The National Weather Serivce has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Lampasas County and much of North and Central Texas Jan. 10.

Severe thunderstorms will be capable of producing large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes this afternoon into the late evening.
The Waco/Temple/Killeen area and I-35 corridor are specifically mentioned in the statement.

"The primary severe weather threats with the line of storms will again be damaging downburst winds and large hail of 2-4 inches in diameter," said Lower Colorado River Authority Chief Meteorologist Bob Rose, in an online post. "However, an isolated tornado or two cannot be ruled out."
