Cora Ruth Farley, 82, of Lampasas died Feb. 21, 2019 at a local nursing home.

A memorial service will be held March 18 at 10 a.m. at New Covenant Church. Cora’s body will be cremated, and her remains buried at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen at 2 p.m. that day.

She was born March 9, 1936 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Glen Williams Sr. and Ruth Armildia (Holmes) Williams.

Cora married James Henry Farley on May 7, 1955 in Whittier, California. The family lived in California for many years.

Cora belonged to New Covenant Church in Lampasas. She was a dog groomer, raised and showed collies. She enjoyed square dancing and crochet.

Cora was preceded in death by her husband.

She is survived by son, James Henry Farley Jr. (D’Ann); daughter, Janet Farley Estes (Terry); brother, Glen Williams Jr.; sisters, Anita Christian and Judith Ann Farley; grandchildren Corina Leblanc Russell and Cynthia Leblanc Carrier; and great-grandchildren Eva, Cora, Scarlett, Natalie and Clara.
