A service for Jeanie Brownlee D’Spain, 69, of Lampasas will be July 18, 2020 at 10 a.m. in the Crosier Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Alvarado. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. July 17 at the funeral home.
Jeanie died July 11, 2020 in Lampasas at her home, surrounded by family.
She was born May 27, 1951 in Cleburne. She married Jessie D’Spain on June 25, 2011 in Whitney. She was a licensed vocational nurse.
Jeanie is survived by her husband, Jessie D’Spain of Lampasas; daughter, Teri Whitaker and husband Louis of Lampasas; a son, James Nickell and wife Anna of Battle Creek, Michigan; their father, Gerald Nickell; sons Wes Brownlee and wife Lynn of Cleburne and George L. Brownlee of Lampasas; stepsons Edward Brownlee and wife Tonya of Alvarado, and Robert Brownlee and wife Shelly of Rio Vista; brothers Sonny Boyette of Florida and Phil Thompson of Whitney; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jeanie is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Manuel Washington; second husband, George Edward Brownlee; and grandchild Jarrod Nickell.
