Getting older

As one gets older, certain behavioral patterns or observations cause us to wonder why did I do this? Here are three:

• Why did we say “I’d better keep this because I might need it” knowing full well we have three but can’t remember where we put them?

• How often have we said “I can fix it,” only to hire someone later who really knows how to fix it?

• Why is it that we spend our lives accumulating stuff, only to have complete strangers sort through it at our estate sale?
