Ranch Investments is relocating to the former Extraco Bank building at 302 N. Key Ave. after John Ed Stepan purchased the building April 27.
Stepan said he plans to move from his current office, which he has leased from another owner, to the new location by about Aug. 1.
Of the 3,400 square feet at 302 N. Key, approximately 1,950 square feet will be leased to Domino’s Pizza.
Stepan said he has had a business relationship with Domino’s franchisee Ike Coronis and wanted to continue to do business with him. The new office front also has more space than the current Ranch Investments site.
Coronis has worked for Domino’s 22 years since starting as a delivery driver. He mentioned that 90 percent of the company’s franchisees started as drivers or pizza-makers.
Coronis lives with his wife and sons in Lago Vista -- the city where he franchised his first Domino’s store in 2007. He also owns stores in Burnet and Jonestown, and he plans to put in another in Brady.
Domino’s will occupy the south side of the building that Ranch Investments recently purchased.
Coronis said he plans to start construction on the store in June, and Stepan said he expects the pizza business to open around September.
Extraco closed its Lampasas branch bank last year after opening in 2011.
