Lampasas County 4-H officials will host a meeting Thursday to share information about the 4-H Food Challenge.
The meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. in the Lampasas County Office Building conference room at 409 S. Pecan St.
The 4-H Food Challenge is an event in which teams of three or four work together in a 40-minute time period to complete a dish to be judged.
“It’s becoming the most popular project in Texas, and any team can advance to the district/state competition at the San Angelo Stock Show in January,” officials said.
Students in grades 3-12 can compete in the junior, intermediate or senior level.
More details will be available at the meeting, as well as information for anyone interested in joining 4-H.
