County judge urges residents to get COVID-19 vaccinations

With the increase in confirmed cases of COVID-19, as a result of the Delta variant, County Judge Randy Hoyer this week encouraged all Lampasas County residents to get vaccinated. The judge added that he received a two-shot dose of the Moderna vaccine in April.

With the potential for severe weather approaching, Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar reminds Texans they can purchase certain items tax-free during the state’s sales tax holiday for emergency preparation supplies, from April 24-26.

Law enforcement center holds grand opening

By Monique Brand Lampasas Dispatch-Record About 250 people gathered at the Lampasas County Law Enforcement Center Wednesday afternoon for its grand opening. Guests included elected officials, county jail staff and members of surrounding police departments.
