KWSC issues boil water notice

Following a request for voluntary conservation yesterday due to water quality and availability concerns, the Kempner Water Supply Corporation issued a system-wide boil water notice on Tuesday morning. According to KWSC officials, as of 9 a.m., all customers are under a boil water notice.

KWSC notifies of pressure loss

On Tuesday at about 8:30 a.m., Kempner Water Supply Corporation alerted members of a pressure loss issue affecting the north side of the water system. The cause of the loss in pressure is currently unknown, KWSC officials said.

KWSC water supply suspended due to power outages

Kempner Water Supply Corp. has warned members that they may be without water for an undetermined amount of time due to power outages at multiple water plant facilities. In a message issued to customers at 8 p.m.

KWSC notifies of CR 3210 leak

Kempner Water Supply Corp. issued notice of a leak on Friday morning at a little after 9 a.m. “Members, there is a leak on [County Road] 3210.  KWSC is on site and repairs are underway. All of CR 3210 will likely experience loss of water pressure,” officials said.

KWSC notifies of waterline repair

The Kempner Water Supply Corp. has announced customers may experience discolored water due to a Friday repair. According to KWSC officials, a “quick repair” was necessary on a six-inch water line at FM 2808.
