The Lady Badger softball team fell one run short in a final-inning comeback effort against the Taylor Lady Ducks on Tuesday night.
Lampasas lost the game 9-8 after the team entered the top of the seventh inning with a 5-4 lead over Taylor, looking to close out the win. A fiverun half-inning for the Lady Ducks put them on top at 9-5.
