    Westen Reid and John Long both earned their first trip to the state powerlifting meet, and Reid won Region 2 Division II on Saturday.

    Lampasas tied for fourth as a team, ending a threeyear streak of regional titles. Last year’s regional meet was canceled, but the Badgers won gold in 2017 through 2019.
