Personal records set at state meet by Lampasas lifters

This past weekend, four Lampasas powerlifters competed at the state powerlifting meet in Abilene.
None of them finished in the top five to medal, but there were several personal records and school records broken.
Elias Ayala stood out as a 198-pound lifter, setting a new personal best in the squat with an impressive 545-pound lift, coach David Brister said.
