The Lampasas tennis team traveled to Snyder last week to play the Hereford Whitefaces in the area round of the playoffs.
Hereford finished fourth in its district, and was the state champion a few years ago. The Whitefaces play in a tough district, and the top team from their district – Randall -- won state last year, according to Lampasas head coach Kenneth Peiser.
