An Army and Navy veteran who lives in Kempner is heading to Florida next month to compete in a bass fishing tournament that will air on the Sportsman Channel in the near future.
Eric Metcalf is from Massachusetts originally. He has done plenty of fishing in his life, but he started commercial fishing in the ocean when he was a teenager.
