Hundreds line the creek for annual Kiddie Fishing Derby

The weather cooperated, as a nice breeze kept everyone cool at the fishing derby.

    The annual Spring Ho Kiddie Fishing Derby took place from 8-10 a.m.

    Wednesday. Parents and children lined the banks of Sulphur Creek in W.M.

    Brook Park, hoping to catch perch, catfish, bass or anything else that would take their bait.

    The morning started slow and not many fish were being caught, but after the first 30 minutes the fish really started to get busy.
