The Lampasas cross country teams got started with their season last week when they ran in Temple, and both teams placed in the top three.
The boys’ team finished second with 90 points in the meet that featured 13 teams from Conference 1A to 4A and more than 100 total runners.
The top five Badger runners all medaled.
