Lampasas saw a nine-point lead slide into a six-point deficit, before the team came back in the fourth quarter of Tuesday’s bi-district championship game to take the win.
The Badgers (19-4) beat the Graham Steers 77-68 for their first bi-district title in three years and the seventh one in coach Aaron Nuckles’ career. Nuckles won five of those titles while coaching in Lometa and two with Lampasas.
