On Saturday, the Lampasas Badger basketball team hosted the first scrimmages of the season. The Badgers competed against Georgetown East View, Llano and Killeen Chaparral.
In two games with a 20-minute running clock, Lampasas tied with East View at 23-23, and beat Llano 30-19.
Against Chaparral, the Badgers played an eightminute live quarter, and they lost 21-16.
