Joanne Faye LaTart, 77, of Kempner died on Aug. 17, 2024.
Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements.
Joanne was born in Lake Placid, New York on Oct. 25, 1946, to Clayton and Jennie (LaMonda) Beeman.
She and her husband, Alan, were proud that they hosted 22 foreign exchange students over the years.
For most of her career, Joanne was a bookkeeper in the exotic pet industry and was known to be very precise and meticulous with her records. She was instrumental in running a lot of businesses.
Joanne was preceded in death by her sister, Gerri Chapman, and her brother, Bill Beeman.
Survivors include her husband, Alan G. LaTart; her son, James LaTart; grandchildren Krystal Louise LaTart and Brooke Rose LaTart; and her greatgranddaughter, Chelsea Collins.
