Crystal Lea Mullins Kinsey, 84, died peacefully on Jan. 23, 2026, at Stoney Brook Assisted Living in Copperas Cove.
Memorial services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Feb. 7 at 2:30 p.m.
Crystal was born on Nov. 11, 1941, in Winterset, Iowa to Jack White and Betty (Davis) Mullins.
She moved from Iowa to Mathis, Texas, where she lived until age 12 when her family moved to Austin. When she was 14, Crystal’s family moved to Burnet.
Crystal married Larry A. Kinsey in 1960 in Burnet. They were married for over 65½ years.
Crystal enjoyed spending time with her family, working in her yard and sewing.
She began working for Dr. Bill Wineinger as an optometrist assistant, which she did for approximately 13 years. After that, Crystal accepted a new job with Dr. Hall in the same field.
In 1985, she left her job to open a new business with her husband.
Crystal was preceded in death by her parents, Med and Betty Mullins, and Jack White; and by a greatgrandson, Grayson.
Survivors include her husband, Larry of Lampasas; her daughter, Deborah (George) Perry of Round Top; her son, Bo (Sandra) Kinsey of Buda; her daughter, Heather (Joseph) Finney of Lampasas; her sister, Margaret (Larry) Queen of Kempner; grandchildren Lindsay, Cameron, Cade, Tyler, McKinna, Brady, Kassidy and Kylie; greatgrandchildren Hayes, Finn, Aurelia, Aurora, Cynch, Ellisyn, Ford, Blanton and Axl; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
