Annie Marie Kepler, 95, of Copperas Cove, died peacefully at her home on Oct. 14, 2025.
She was born on Sept. 8, 1930, in Port Lavaca to John Frizzell and Helen Blyth Frizzell.
On May 17, 1950, Annie married the love of her life, Billy Joe Kepler, at Southside Baptist Church in Denison. In 1969, they moved to Lampasas, where Annie built a life centered around faith, family and community.
Annie was an avid quilter who loved sewing and took great joy in caring for her family. Her gentle spirit, loving heart and creative hands left lasting imprints on all who knew her.
She is survived by seven sons, Johnny Kepler and wife Kathleen of Kempner, Bill D. Kepler and wife Kathy of Kennard, Tom Kepler and wife Darlene of Lampasas, Jeff Kepler and wife Dianne of Lampasas, Rodney Kepler and wife Paula of Lampasas, Robert Kepler and wife Sandra of Temple, and James Kepler of Stephenville; three daughters, Sandra Walters of Edgewood, Kathy Miller of Copperas Cove, and Debbie Greenburg and husband Lee of Lampasas; one sister, Katheryn Morgan of Kerrville; 23 grandchildren; 47 greatgrandchildren; and 24 greatgreat- grandchildren. Annie was preceded in death by her husband, one infant child, three sisters, two brothers, one greatgrandson and one greatgranddaughter.
Visitation was held Oct. 18 at Heritage Funeral Home of Lampasas. Funeral services followed at the Heritage Funeral Home chapel.
