Bobbie Christine (Clark) Chapman, 87, of Kempner died on March 22, 2025.
Funeral services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on March 31 at 11:30 a.m., with visitation an hour prior. Graveside services will follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen at 2 p.m.
Bobbie was born on Dec. 11, 1937, in Fort Worth to Irby D. and Ruby C. Clark.
She married Raymond C. Chapman in 1953, and they were married until his death in 2021.
Church and Bobbie's faith were the biggest part of her life. She was a charter member of Kempner Oak Hills Baptist Church. She was active in the choir and volunteered in numerous church, community and youth activities including Girls in Action, Woman's Missionary Union and Acteens. She started a program to round up gifts for those at nursing homes and also helped to start a program visiting those who were unable to leave their houses. In addition, she taught Sunday School.
Above all, Bobbie loved her family dearly. She supported her husband Raymond in his careers and accomplishments.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond C. Chapman; and sons Douglas W. Chapman, Gregory D. Chapman, Lorne A. Chapman and Darren J. Chapman.
Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia Chapman-Stone and husband Stephen; sisters Doris Chapman and Carroll Wamsley; grandchildren James Kyler Imhoff, Logan Chapman and wife Alex, Nichele Imhoff Willis and husband JD, Chelsea Imhoff Miller and husband Audie, Ashley Mellon and husband Quentin, Jackie Hanke and husband Justin, Sam Stone and Shane Stone; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
