Myrna Catherine Bozarth, 88, died on July 11, 2025, at AdventHealth Rollins Brook hospital in Lampasas.
Services will be held at Central Christian Church in Lampasas on July 15 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Myrna was born on Dec. 11, 1936, in Belton to Shelby Medart and Margaret Morgan. She grew up in Lampasas.
She graduated from Lampasas High School in 1954. After high school, she attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth for two years.
Myrna married Mickey Bozarth in 1955, in Lampasas. They were married for 70 years and had two children.
Myrna enjoyed watching all of her son, Mackey’s, football games and golf tournaments, and her daughter, Marci’s, basketball games and golf tournaments. After they finished high school, she and Mickey continued watching Marci play in many collegiate golf tournaments.
Myrna was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her spouse, Mickey Bozarth of Lampasas; son, Mackey Bozarth of Lampasas; and daughter, Marci Bozarth of Houston.
The family requested memorial donations be made to a charity of one’s choice.
