Jimmie Ray Prince Sr., 84, of Lampasas, died at his home in Lampasas on March 28, 2025.
Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on April 4 from 4-7 p.m.
Graveside services will be at Kempner Cemetery on April 5 at 10 a.m.
Jimmie was born on Dec. 22, 1940, in Balch, Arkansas, to Alfred and Dorothy (Fowble) Prince.
He faithfully served his country for 21 years in the U.S. Army. After his retirement from the military, he served in numerous supervisor and management roles with Bay City and the city of Killeen.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his wife, Tommie Prince; brothers Harry, Oscar Houston and Wallace; and his sisters, Daisy and Flora.
Jimmie is survived by his wife, Lupe Prince; sons Jimmie Prince Jr., and Joe Prince and wife Elena; his stepson, Edmundo R. Monarque and wife Monica; brothers John Prince and wife Joann, and Glen Prince and wife Marie; grandchildren Dylan Prince and Patrick Prince; step-grandchildren Amanda, Eddie Jr., Eddie Richard, Victoria, Christina and Jacob; his nephew, David Prince; and numerous other nieces, nephews and greatgrandchildren.
