Mr. Cox

Jeffrey Neal Cox, 70, died on Jan. 26, 2025, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Waco.

Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas at 1 p.m. on Feb. 8. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.

Jeff was born on Dec. 21, 1954, in Lampasas to Malford E. Cox and Nelda Jean Mullins Cox. He grew up in Lampasas and Killeen.

He graduated from Killeen High School in 1973.

Jeff became a salesman and excelled in the profession. His latest role was working as a sales engineer for VanTran Transformers since June 2012.

Jeff married Marcia Ann Judd on May 9, 1992, in Hewitt. They were married for 33 years.

Jeff enjoyed many different hobbies and became very skilled at them: fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, calligraphy writing, drawing sketch art, playing cards, playing guitar, playing drums and being a singer. He loved western movies as well, and his hero was John Wayne. Jeff also had recently become an inner apprentice at M. Denton Stanford Masonic Lodge.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Marcia Ann Judd of Hewitt; brother, Terrall Brent Cox of Killeen; sister, Ginger L. Holland and husband Rick of Killeen; daughters Casey Ann Sheppard and husband Kevin of Farmersville, Candice Daniel and husband Nathan of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Cresta Kempton and husband Chris of Beaverton, Oregon; son, Randall B. Judd and wife Portia of Spring Valley, Texas; and grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
