Charlie Campbell, 73, died on May 9, 2025, at his home in Kempner.
Graveside services will be held at Rock Church Cemetery in Rumley on May 16 at 2 p.m. Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements.
Charlie was born on Nov. 21, 1951 in Gatesville to Daymond and Wilma Campbell.
He grew up in Lampasas and graduated from Lampasas High School in 1970.
For most of his career Charlie operated heavy equipment, worked in excavation and also enjoyed working on ranches in the area.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie P. Campbell, and his son, Jason Campbell.
Survivors include his sons David Campbell and wife Arlene, and Mickey Campbell; his daughter, Holly Campbell; his sister, Mary Wesolek; and three grandchildren.
