Cora Jean Litton, 81, of Lampasas died April 19, 2023, at AdventHealth Central Texas in Killeen.
Services will be private. Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements.
Cora was born in Lampasas on Aug. 25, 1941, to Wilburn and Evelyn (Parsons) Weaks. She grew up in Lampasas and graduated from Lampasas High School.
For most of her life, she took care of the elderly at her home and in their homes.
Cora was a natural caregiver and loved looking after her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing bingo, and cooking and was known for her fried chicken. Her family was everything to her.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kim Landers, and her brother, Wilburn Darrell Weaks.
Survivors include her daughters Pam Bocanegra and husband Jerry, Rexanna Bennett and husband Kris, and Michelle Litton and wife Christina; and numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and greatgreat- grandchildren, as well as other family members.
