Patricia Eunice Walter of Marble Falls died in her home on Feb. 26, 2023. She was 85 years old.
Pat was born in Rolette, North Dakota on June 30, 1937 to Eunice and Almore Christianson.
After graduating as valedictorian of her high school class of 11 students, Pat began nursing school and then attended Interstate Business College in Fargo.
During this time, Pat met and married Jerry Walter in 1957. They were married almost 50 years before Jerry passed away.
Pat and Jerry lived in numerous locations, eventually buying a resort in Minnesota, where they lived for 14 years and raised their four children. During this time, Pat completed nursing school and was employed as a nurse, and Jerry worked as an engineer for 3M.
In 1985, Jerry’s job moved them to Austin, Texas, where they lived until Jerry retired and they moved to Joppa, to their home on Windy Hill. Wherever they lived, they enjoyed many friends.
In March 2007, Pat married her second husband, Carroll McCoy of Lampasas. They enjoyed many great times with their 208 Dinner Club and enjoyed sharing life together at the ranch. They were married 13 years before Carroll passed away.
She is survived by her sister, Sandra Foss; her son Arro Walter (Ginny); her daughter Margo Lane (Tom); her daughter Greta Cook (boyfriend Jerry); her daughter Laura Martin (Seth); her grandchildren Sam, Olivia and Lauren Walter, Erin Wyatt (Darron), Ben Lane (Kassidy), Emily Dang (Peter), Elizabeth Lane, Zachary and Jacob Cook, Luke, Isabelle, Benjamin, Jillian and Lucy Martin; great-grandchildren Kinsley Lane, Emma Lane, Abby Dang and Noah Dang; her brothers-in-law and their wives, Dirk and Dawn Walter, and Noel and Karen Walter, as well as Carmen Walter; and many nieces and nephews.
