Justin Eli Sutton, 36, of Lampasas, died on Nov. 30, 2022 in his home.
He was born Sept. 23, 1986 in Lampasas.
He graduated from Lampasas High School and had an associate degree in wildlife management.
Justin was a roofer by trade and owned a roofing business. He loved to hunt, fish, work on his trucks and play with his forge.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Adam Sutton; and by grandfathers Dennis Sutton and Dorman Mahana.
Survivors include his parents, Bob and Shirley Sutton of Lampasas; a sister, Sarah Sutton of Lampasas; three brothers, Christopher Matthews of North Carolina, Dakota Matthews and wife Sarah of North Carolina, and Evan Matthews and fiancee Sidney Coats of Alvarado; grandmother, Louise Sutton Mahana of Lampasas; nephew, Remington Matthews; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation with the family was Dec. 4 at Heritage Funeral Home in Lampasas.
A service will be held at 10 a.m. Dec. 5 at First Street Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Heritage Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
