Fire Prevention Week focuses on emergency planning in the home

The National Fire Prevention Association is celebrating the 100th anniversary of Fire Prevention Week. The Lampasas City Council declared Fire Prevention Week as Oct. 9-15.
This year’s campaign, “Fire won’t wait. Plan your escape,” works to educate the public about simple but important actions residents can take to keep themselves and those around them safe from house fires.
