Cattle and calves: Total cattle 425, compared to 308 last sale and 527 at this time last year.
Compared to last sale, feeder steers steady; heifers were $3-$5 higher. Slaughter cows were $2-$4 higher, and slaughter bulls were steady.
Feeder cattle accounted for 65 percent. Slaughter cows and bulls accounted for 35 percent.
