    Beto O’Rourke, Democratic gubernatorial candidate in Texas, was in Lampasas Thursday as part of his 49-day “Drive for Texas” campaign.

    The event took place at the former middle school cafeteria on Western Street, with both Democrat and Republican voters in attendance, approximately 285 in total.
