Linda Lee Shultz of Lampasas died at her home on June 8, 2022.
She was born on Dec. 25, 1948, in Houston to Jack Fowler Sr. and Virginia Bruce Fowler.
She married Kent Shultz on July 31, 2010, at the Legion Club in League City, Texas. She and her husband had settled in Lampasas 12 years ago after a year of traveling together all over the country.
Linda loved cooking for her family and spending time with them. She loved travel, playing cards, gardening, music, dancing and living the simple life with her husband on “Rocking Chair Ranch.” She was a member of Naruna Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir.
Linda had a servant’s heart. She took part in Eight Days of Hope twice with her church, going to places where tragedy had occurred, and was willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Linda is survived by her husband, Kent Shultz of Lampasas; two daughters, Jenny Scriba of Arizona, and Bonni Castro and husband Jeremy of Kyle, Texas; two stepsons, Kelly Shultz and Jesse Shultz; two stepdaughters, Andrea Hupp and Angela Sanchez; one brother, Jack Fowler and wife Annette of Houston; two sisters, Susi Berner of Lampasas and Vicki Binford of Alabama; grandchildren Trinity, Chase, Skylar, Derik, Kacey, Noe, Troy, Arissa, Amaya, Austin C. and Austin H.; one great-grandson, Michael Cyrus; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
On June 14, visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Lampasas.
On June 18, a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., also at Heritage Funeral Home. A livestream of the service will be available at heritagefuneraltx. com. Linda’s body will be cremated.
