Scott Cloud, 82, of Lampasas died on May 21, 2022, at Lampasas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on May 26 at 2 p.m., with a visitation an hour prior.
Weldon “Scott” Cloud was born on Jan. 15, 1940 in Lampasas to Weldon D. and Dorothy (Motheral) Cloud.
He served his country for six years in the National Guard and was proud of his service. Scott was employed in the wool and mohair business for many years until the warehouse closed in the 1980s.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved animals and wildlife. One of his favorite things to do was sit and watch the deer, birds, foxes and stray cats he fed.
Scott was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Robert Carl Cloud and Paulina.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Sandra; daughters Kimberly Truelove and Misti Harrell; nephew, Robert Cloud; niece, Tracy Herrmann; and grandchildren Keli Truelove, Allison Harrell and Ashley Harrell.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
