Fundraiser on tap for fire department

The popular Box Sale starts at 12:30 p.m. Saturday as part of the Kempner Volunteer Fire Department’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Boxes of miscellaneous items are sold for $5. Barbecue lunches will be offered, and auction items also will be available at 315 Pecan St. in Kempner. file photo
