The report from the April 20 Lampasas Cattle Auction follows.
Cattle and calves: Total cattle 644, compared to 343 last sale and 414 at this time last year.
Compared to last sale, feeder steers and heifers were steady to $3 higher. Slaughter cows and slaughter bulls were $1-$3 higher.
Feeder cattle accounted for 57 percent. Slaughter cows and bulls accounted for 43 percent.
