Franklin Duenas Rios, 52, a longtime resident of Kempner, died on Dec. 4, 2021.
He was born in Guam on Oct. 23, 1969, to Francisco G. and Rosemarie (Iglesias) Rios.
He was a carpenter and general handyman by trade. He played baseball and football during high school, and played on adult leagues when living in Guam.
Franklin loved spending time with his family. He was known to be a stubborn but fun-loving man. He will be missed by his German shepherd companion, Jax.
He is survived by his sons Franklin Anthony Guevara Rios and Alexander Keith Rios (McAdams); daughters Anela Ashley Rios (McAdams) and Andrenikki Ann Rios (McAdams); his brothers Sean Loucks and Christian Rios; sisters Francine and Christina Nicole Rios; grandchild, Franklin Anthony Guevara Rios Jr.; nephew Charles “CJ” Emmanuel Osiris and special niece Claire Marie Loucks; by Momma Annie (Ninete), and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. April 23, 2022, at Heritage Funeral Home in Lampasas. A livestream will be available at www. heritagefuneraltx.com under Mr. Rios’ name.
