Students celebrate fun twist to end curriculum unit

With a big white bow in her hair and paper in her hand, 9-yearold Arion Michaud walked toward the cafeteria stage and approached the microphone.

After getting the OK from third-grade teacher Amanda Hinshaw-Smith, Arion gave the audience a smile and began to speak the words of her shape poetry about dolphins.
