Justice of the Peace, Precinct 1
Misty Wakeman, who was appointed last year to the seat of Precinct 1 justice of the peace, will remain at her post after prevailing in Tuesday's Republican Primary Election. Wakeman collected 1,057 votes, or 54.29% of the overall unofficial votes. Dr. James W. Mercer received 590 votes, or 30.3%, and Chris Munn received 300 votes, or 15.41%.
