Filing has begun for municipal and school board elections that will take place May 7.
The candidate filing period ends Feb. 18 for Lampasas City Council, Kempner City Council and Lometa City Council seats up for election, as well as for various trustee positions on the Lampasas ISD and Lometa ISD boards.
