The report from the Feb. 9 Lampasas Cattle Auction follows.
Cattle and calves: Total cattle 468, compared to 285 last sale and 544 at this time last year.
Compared to last sale, feeder steers and heifers were $7-$10 higher.
Slaughter cows were $5-$7 higher, and slaughter bulls were $2-$4 higher.
Feeder cattle accounted for 73 percent. Slaughter cows and bulls accounted for 27 percent.
