Local couples reflect on their secrets to a successful marriage
Joey and Vickie McQueen met in 1963 while attending a private kindergarten class in Ballinger. They were 5 years old.
“As the years followed, we both feel we were drawn to each other because of caring and compassion for others, and trying to do for others,” the couple said. “We played in the sandbox together, went through elementary, junior high and high school together.”
